Cisco representatives visit campus, talk with students

Michele Parrish and Harry Bulbrook (pictured, lower photo) Durham Tech Information Systems Security/Networking Technologies instructors, report that on Feb. 3, Cisco representatives visited Durham Tech’s campus and talked to approximately 25 students about Cisco’s business, jobs, and internship opportunities. The event was very interactive with students being able to ask questions about working at Cisco, the changing technology market, and training/certification. Representatives looked over students’ resumes and conducted mini-interviews. Several students have been contacted by Cisco to put in applications and have conducted preliminary interviews for employment.
