Gamma Beta Phi inducts 23 new members

The Gamma Beta Phi Honorary Society inducted 23 new members Saturday, March 5. Advisor Don Sommerfeldt, President Nicole Tatum, Vice President Chris McDuff, and members Kim Green and Ramsha Aleem were on hand in the Wynn Student Services Center Multi-Purpose Room to welcome the new inductees.

Following welcome remarks by Don Sommerfeldt, Chris McDuff read aloud the code of ethics and delivered a reading on the symbolism of the coat of arms. Each member then took a pledge of membership from Nicole Tatum.

“We would like to welcome our new members and wish them to continue to recognize and encourage excellence in education, to promote the development of leadership ability and character in its members, and to foster, disseminate, and improve education through appropriate service projects,” Sommerfeldt said.
