FUNdraising with our Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Durham Tech’s Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program got down with the dogs in Apex this past Saturday, June 25. As a fundraiser for their upcoming Clinical Council Meeting (July 22, in the Wynn Center) students offered dog washing, snacks for people and pets (popcorn, snow cones, and homemade dog treats!), face painting, and American flags in exchange for a donation to the OTA program.

Dog owners received a complimentary photo of their freshly-laundered pooches, decked out in glorious red, white, and blue in front of a beautiful large flag.

Congratulations to our students for a unique and interesting approach to FUNdraising!
